Games for Health Project
The Games for Health Project, sponsored by the Pioneer Portfolio of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is an effort to improve the quality, and accelerate the potential impact that videogames and videogame technologies might have on health & healthcare. The project is designed to support knowledge-based development, community development, and leadership in this emerging field. The project is currently preparing a series of public reports and resource documents to summarize its findings thus far.

Games for Health Conference
The Games for Health Conference, originated by Digitalmill, is the largest gathering in the world of game developers, researchers, health professionals and health industry. Started in 2004 it has served nearly 1500 attendees since its inception.
The next Games for Health Conference will be held in May 2010 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Serious Games Initiative
The Serious Games Initiative was co-founded by Digitalmill with the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and is currently the largest social community and knowledge-base development project supporting the development of the serious games field. Its leadership has spawned several groups in other disciplines and regions including Canada, Japan, Australia, and throughout Europe.

Serious Games Summit
Originally developed with support from the IGDA, the Serious Games Summit is now a specific conference property of Think Services which produces the Game Developers Conference. Digitalmill has produced, and currently still produces the Serious Games Summit @ GDC for Think Services. Serious Games Summits have provided content to over 3000 attendees since Spring 2003. The next Serious Games Summit will be held in March 2010 at the Game Developers Conference.
Project:Connect
Digitalmill provided the first round of designs and with development by Persusasive Games managed the first round of production on a series of games to help middle-school students understand the basic technologies, systems, science, and inventors that have enabled modern-day communications including cellular telephones, email, and data compression.
eleMental
The Liemandt Foundation had Digitalmill and one of its development partners, Persuasive Games, work to refine a student game development contest entry into EleMental, a game designed to help middle and high-school students learn key attributes about the periodic table of elements.

Next Gen UAV Interfacing
In-conjunction with The Inspiracy & Totally Games we applied game design principals to define new ideas for next-generation UAV command & control systems for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
USAID Games Framework
Working with several other designers we developed and created supporting materials to help define a strategic framework to guide possible use of games for the US Agency of International Development.
iPhone Game for Health
For a major U.S. health interest we are designing and producing a iPhone game that will seek to motivate people young and old to exercise more as part of a habit forming style of play.
Cisco Binary Game
Working with Persuasive Games we built a fun-to-play casual Web game to help students preparing for the Cisco Certified Network Associates exam to master binary math. The game is one of Cisco's most popular pieces of casual learning content.

Virtual U
One of the major serious game projects of the 1990's, Virtual U, was produced by Digitalmill for the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Developed by Dr. William F. Massy and Enlight Software the project was a 2001 Independent Games Festival Finalist. It attempts to produce in the form of a computer strategy game critical approaches to university administration. The experiment in serious games provided university leaders with a new tool for education and training while providing the emerging serious games community with a wealth of information as a pioneering project in the space.

Games & Serious Game Technology & Research Roadmap
Intel Research sponsored work by Digitalmill to develop an assessment of the technology and research roadmap needed to advance games and serious games applications from where they stand today. This report will soon be public with updated information and designed to provide inspiration and leadership in the games and serious games research communities.
